In the summer we spent ten busy days in (mainly Northern) Ireland.  We had time to catch up with much loved family, and particularly enjoyed a day trip to Warrenpoint with cousin Mary and her daughters. We managed to fit in visits to see all the aunts and uncles still living in Ireland, and saw a few more cousins. There are still few cousins we have missed on the last two trips we'd like to catch up with!

One of the Ireland highlights was visiting the Giant’s Causeway on a bright sunny day.  The boys walked miles without complaint and enjoyed the curious rock formations.

The Bushmills Distillery was also on the holiday itinerary. Despite suffering a flat tyre in the pouring rain we still made it to the distillery, enjoyed the day, and fitted in a train ride too.

We were staying in Glen Ariff, and at the foot of the Glen was a startling grey and white cobbled beach, where Matthew enjoyed bashing the rocks together.
