Thames Path: stage 10a - Henley to Pangbourne

This was the key weekend for the walk - planned with some precision, weeks in advance, ensuring the other walks finished at the right time. We booked to stay overnight in Pangbourne, so on Saturday morning I took two buses and Sue took three trains to get to Henley. We met in front of the Wind in the Willows museum, and set out on a fine sunny day.

Our backpacks were a bit heavier than on previous stages, as we needed a change of clothing and wash bag etc. However, travelling light was something Sue and I were used to in previous decades, so it gave us a chance to reminisce.
