James Andrew was born at 2.00pm on Friday 7th August
1998. He weighed in at 4.192kg at birth, 9lb 3.5oz, quite a size! (Mind you both Malcolm and Bridget were heavier at birth.) |

Immediately after birth James' head is still quite elongated. His head was quite large, so it had to squash dramatically to fit through Bridget's pelvis. | |||

Later in the evening James rested most of the time.
His head had already started to become more round. He was not too interested in feeding at this stage but was getting the hang of where food came from, and what it smelt like. |
